CCA Continues to Grow; Welcomes New Teachers, Board Members and Volunteers

As excitement builds for the opening of its expanded kindergarten through 8th grade program this fall, Christian Crossroads Academy is pleased to announce several new additions to its leadership team, faculty, and volunteer staff.

The growing team reflects the Academy’s continued commitment to providing families throughout northwest North Dakota with a rigorous Classical Christian education rooted in biblical truth and academic excellence.

“Our vision has always been larger than serving a single community,” said Academy leadership. “Christian Crossroads Academy exists to serve Christian families from every church and every community across the region. As enrollment grows, we are grateful that God continues to bring gifted people alongside us who share that vision.”

Among the newest additions is Lynn Patten, who will serve as the Academy’s lead teacher. Bringing a passion for Christian education and student development, Lynn will help guide the school’s expanding academic program while mentoring students in both character and scholarship.

Joining the Board of Directors is Cory Fleck, whose extensive professional experience and leadership background will strengthen the Academy as it continues to grow. His broad resume and commitment to Christian education bring valuable perspective to the school’s long-term planning and governance.

The Academy also welcomes Chris Kumpula of Tioga, who joins the growing educational team and will help support the school’s mission of developing students spiritually, academically, and personally.

Pending final confirmation, Junie Petit of New Town is expected to join the faculty as well. Junie has received specialized training through Concordia’s educational programs in serving students with special learning needs, helping expand the Academy’s ability to meet the diverse needs of families while maintaining a Classical Christian educational model.

In addition to new faculty and board leadership, Christian Crossroads Academy is honored to welcome Jim Langager as a volunteer. Jim brings years of experience in Classical Christian education and will serve as a valuable mentor and resource to both teachers and administrators as the Academy continues building a culture of wisdom, virtue, and academic excellence.

These additions come as Christian Crossroads Academy prepares for one of its most significant years yet. The school recently announced its expansion through eighth grade and continues to attract families seeking a Christ-centered education that emphasizes strong academics, biblical worldview integration, critical thinking, and character formation.

The Academy welcomes students from all Christian denominations and encourages families from communities throughout northwest North Dakota to learn more about its Classical Christian approach to education.

“Building a school is ultimately about building people,” Academy leadership said. “Every teacher, board member, volunteer, parent, and student plays a role in shaping the next generation of Christian leaders. We are thankful for the individuals who have answered God’s call to serve alongside us.”
