Christian Crossroads Academy Renovation Work Underway
Stanley, ND — Work has begun on the future home of Christian Crossroads Academy, as a former lumberyard building in Stanley is being remodeled into a new school.
Those who attended the academy’s information night on March 26 were able to get a first look at the space and hear about the renovation plans. The building will be transformed into a classical Christian school designed to serve families in the area.
The first phase of construction is focused on meeting building codes and improving safety. Plans include adding a new front entry to create a secure and welcoming entrance for students, staff, and visitors.
Early work will also include building several classrooms and adding bathrooms to support the school’s opening.
The academy is working with Mattson Construction Co. of Minot on the project. Organizers said the company has been great to work with. Mattson Construction Co. has worked in Stanley before and built the original Presbyterian Church building, now known as the Sibyl Center.
Architectural drawings of the school will be available for the public to view at the Mountrail County Home and Garden Show on April 24 and 25.
Organizers say they plan to complete the first phase of construction in time for a fall 2026 school opening.
